Events

Here are details of our 2026 programme...

February

Saturday 28th February at 2pm

AGM & Annual Recital All Saints' Church, Woodham, Woking GU21 5SH

Join us for our AGM, followed by tea before Tom Bell's President's Recital on the newly restored and expanded Harrison organ - not to be missed!

March

Saturday 14th March

London Organ Day The Guards Chapel, Westminster

A chance to hear the large new Harrison & Harrison at the 40th LOD, and the last at which our President, Tom Bell is the Artistic Director. More info here.

Monday 16th at 5pm

Godalming Performing Arts Festival Godalming Parish Church GU7 1EW

The organ classes at the annual Godalming festival take place this evening - an opportunity to hear organists who've recently started to learn the instrument, to those with years of experience. Probably the best opportunity this year to discover a wide range of organ repertoire! No booking required for those attending as audience.

May

Saturday 2nd May at 2.30-4.30pm

Registration Workshop St Mary's Church, West Horsley KT24 6TA

St Mary's has a lovely 2-manual Frobenius organ - with a registration more representative of baroque instruments found in Northern Europe. Bring a favourite piece of music to try on this organ, and (with help) find a suitable registration. Especially welcome will be pieces that typically require more 'English' or 'French' registrations with (eg) strings, or a quiet reed solo.

October

Saturday 10th; 2.30-4.30pm

Composer workshop St Thomas-on-The-Bourne GU9 8HA

A continuation of our pre-covid 'composer' series, directed by Julian Cooper.

Events this year will also include:

Workshop on basic improvisation

Visit to play the organ at Canterbury Cathedral (late May/early June)
